Ron Roble

Production of Roble Viejo rums starts in the state of Yaracuy, in central Venezuela. Sugar cane is planted and harvested, fermented and pressed.

The extracted molasses are then distilled in 5 successive columns, to reach a degree of 96 °. The distillates are then transported to Ocumare del Tuy near Caracas, where they are put in barrels and aged in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels. Roble does not practice the upgrading of the barrels (or solera method) and can thus guarantee the minimum age of rums
