Rum from Mexico

Rum from Mexico

Mexico produces numerous spirits, like tequila made from blue agave, but also really tasty agricultural and traditional rums. Sugar cane was since the end of the Mexican revolution a “state growing”. The tropical climate, warm and humid, in some states of Mexico like Cordoba is well inclined towards quality of sugar cane growing. The rum produced in Mexico is often light and too recent to be aged. Among agricultural rums, we can name Macollo’s rum, Cadenhead and I Ron Prohibido Rum Habanero that are more traditional.
