Vietnam is not well known for being a big rum producer. However, sugarcane is cultivated there, which hasn’t escaped the eye of an adventurous few.
There are indeed two brands that produce rum. Firstly, Belami, produced by a French mixologist who mixes natural Vietnamese ingredients with his Caribbean heritage and transforms everything into a borderless experience.
As well as Sampan, produced by the Indochine distillery located south of Hoi An, bordered by heavenly beaches. Founded in 2018 by a team of enthusiasts driven by the desire to produce the best Vietnamese pure cane juice rum, in the greatest tradition and respect for the environment.
