Vietnam is not well known for being a big rum producer. However, sugarcane is cultivated there, which hasn’t escaped the eye of an adventurous few.
There are indeed two brands that produce rum. Firstly, Belami, produced by a French mixologist who mixes natural Vietnamese ingredients with his Caribbean heritage and transforms everything into a borderless experience.
As well as Sampan, produced by the Indochine distillery located south of Hoi An, bordered by heavenly beaches. Founded in 2018 by a team of enthusiasts driven by the desire to produce the best Vietnamese pure cane juice rum, in the greatest tradition and respect for the environment. The only place in Vietnam where you can experience a French still and traditional aging method surrounded by a pristine beach!
