Puerto Rico is located in the West Indies, in the middle of the Caribbean sea where rum is an activity more recent than in the rest of the Caribbean. The rum production has really began with the arrival of French, Dutch, English and Spanish plantation owner, at the time of what we call the “Boom sugar” in the 1860’s. Even if they brought their savoir-faire, it’s the Spanish that imposed their distillation style in the end. The rum produced in Puerto Rico is 100% traditional. Since 1936, Bacardi is established on the island and produces its white rum widely. We present here rare bottling with attractive aromas. The white 44.5° of alcohol is addressed to rum expert of white Cuban rums, such as the old or amber version for aged rum lover.
