Domaine de Charron Vintage 2010
Son of the Folle Blanche and the Noah, Baco is a grape variety exclusively represented in the AOC Armagnac. Its lower susceptibility to vine diseases makes it an ecological grape variety, but everyone agrees that its main quality is its ability to work wonders when it exchanges with oak wood during the long years of ageing in barrels: 13 years
This 2010 vintage Armagnac is the result of a distillation at 50.50° in a traditional Armagnac still in wood-heated copper. This vintage is bottled without reduction, at the natural strength of the barrel.
Domaine de Charron
The story began at the beginning of the last century in Perquie in the Landes on the vineyards of the great-grandmother of Jacques and Claude Lartigue. From these vines planted entirely with Baco grape varieties, wine was made sold to the cooperative and it was not uncommon for a few pieces of Armagnac to emerge depending on the year.
