Arhumatic Sicilian mandarin (Citrus reticulata)
This is why the House of Arhumatic has dedicated an arranged rum to it. Surprisingly, this maceration takes us back to childhood and can awaken many memories.
The Fruit
A small yellow-orange citrus fruit, the true mandarin is produced exclusively in Sicily. Rare, unknown, difficult to find, the mandarin is full of taste surprises and, as soon as we forget its seeds, it reveals itself and awakens our taste buds. It is in no way comparable to other citrus fruits and its zest combined with white rum creates a perfect and subtle harmony: it is Citrus Reticulata.
Seasonality
The mandarin makes its appearance during the month of December until about mars . This maceration is a bit confidential: the mandarin being a fragile product and difficult to find, it is until now produced in small quantities at the beginning of each year.
