It is distilled and aged for 8 years in a tropical climate before being sent to Denmark. There, it is blended with old Danish rum casks for a cold cask finish.

Great Dane Rum is a barrel-aged rum. An exclusive blend of rums from selected distilleries in Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Barbados, Jamaica and Panama. First, the rum is distilled and aged in the tropical climate and matured in old bourbon barrels.
