Compagnie des Indes rums are made with care and elegance. The idea was born from the Portuguese East India companies.English, Dutch and French of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, who selected rare commodities from distant lands and imported them into their respective countries. Like the latter, we select the best qualities of rum and import them in France. Compagnie des Indes rums, whether bottled in Single Casks or assembled to bring out the typicality and qualities of each destination, are selected with great rigor.
Never too opulent, nor too sweet in the mouth, they know how to keep their authenticity. Their tasting is a journey through the Caribbean and Central/Latin America.
Compagnie des Indes rums do not contain overrated aromas. The idea is to refocus the consumer on rums that taste like rum!
The Singles Casks are the result of barrels carefully selected for their qualities. Sometimes bottled in raw barrels, or reduced to reverse osmosis water (devoid of any taste or sediment), these rums, representative of their origins, are authentic and elegant.
