The island's three historic distilleries (Cockspur, Foursquare, Mount Gay) have retained the use of pot stills to produce powerful rums with strong aromas. The nose is on caramelized fruit, citrus and varnish. On the palate, we find aromas of fruit paste, cloves and white pepper. The finish is spicy and powerful, which will delight lovers of Barbados rums.

Compagnie des Indes rums are made with care and elegance. The idea was born from the Portuguese, English, Dutch and French East India companies of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, which selected rare commodities from distant lands and imported them into their respective countries. Like the latter, we select the best qualities of rum and import them in France. Compagnie des Indes rums, whether bottled in Single Casks or assembled to bring out the typicality and qualities of each destination, are selected with great rigor.
