Foursquare, a family estate with a unique history

The history of the Foursquare plantation dates back to the eighteenth century, but it was not until 1996, after the site was bought by the Seale family, that the distillery began producing rum. Under the direction of Richard Seale, it has committed to a process of total transparency: no colouring, no addition of sugar and no cold filtration alter the distillate. The distillery combines traditional still and column to produce rums that have won awards in international competitions .

A 10-year-old that transcends its name

Made from a blend of pot still and column still rums matured in a tropical climate in ex-bourbon casks for a minimum of 10 years, R.L. Seale's Golden Rum is bottled at 46% without cold filtration. Its flask-shaped bottle, which has become iconic, houses a rum of character with a complex aromatic profile combining vanilla, dried fruits, sweet spices and woody touches.
