Mezan Belize 2008 10 years old

The distillery is located in Belmopan, the capital of Belize. Molasses, from locally ground sugar cane, is naturally fermented and then distilled in a triple-column still.

This 2008 vintage was first aged in Belize in toasted American Bourbon barrels before being re-enfuted in Bourbon and white oak barrels that had previously contained other Caribbean rums.
