After a first aging in Bourbon barrels in Belize for 5 years, the rum joined Château de Bonbonnet in France, for a new aging in cherry barrels for 4 and a half years: this is the technique of double aging specific to the House.

This is this unique barrel, a real favorite for the team of enthusiasts that we are within Excellence Rhum. We tasted it and selected it by us in the cellars of the Château de Bonbonnet.
Thus, each Plantation Single Cask has a unique aging, and each bottle is numbered. Only a few barrels of these rums are bottled each year, making these expressions real collector's items. Limited edition of 144 bottles.

Maison Ferrand originally maintained privileged relationships with the best distilleries in the Caribbean to which it sells barrels that have contained its Cognac. The barrels of the Ferrand house are very popular with some rum producers who use them to refine their product. During these exchanges, Alexandre Gabriel had the opportunity to discover very old batches with an aromatic richness and a diversity of extraordinary aromas.
