After distillation, this rum was stored for several years in American ex-bourbon barrels facing the Caribbean Sea. It reveals an intensity and authenticity that recall its terroir.
Our tasting notes for
Nose : floral, vanille, tannique.
Palate : sèche, pomme, cuir.
Finish : riche, fruits secs, tannique.
Kuna
Kuna rum, which comes straight from Panama, is marked by the typicity of the Panamanian climate. Indeed, the alternation of dry and wet seasons in Panama strongly impacts the production of Kuna rums. During the Panamanian dry season, only pure rum cane juice is produced.
