A sweet and fruity rum!

To accompany your foie gras during celebrations and family meals, we suggest you abandon Sauternes and other sweet white wines to adopt this remarkable rum from Barbados. This 2011 vintage benefited from a double maturation in ex-Bourbon and Cognac barrels, and especially from a finish in ex-Maury barrels, a Basque wine from the Cathare country. Barbados brings exotic fruit, Bourbon, vanilla, Cognac, grapes and the Maury some black fruit and figs.

A meeting of terroirs

Foie gras, whose consumption dates back to Antiquity, is part of the cultural and gastronomic heritage protected in France. It is therefore a remarkably supple rum that the Excellence Rhum team has selected for you, which will accompany your foie gras tenderly placed on a small grilled toast.
