Bienvenue au premier Salon des Arrangés !

This is the story of three friends, three rum enthusiasts, three seasoned festival-goers, Rhum Fest, Whisky Live, Rhum Live Nantes, Bordeaux Rhum Festival, and many more, who have come together under the company Dégusta Plaisir to create the first salon dedicated to flavored rums. Jacques Barny, Fabrice Ramon, and Séverine Delevoye present to you the Salon des Arrangés! (Yes, the term "rhum arrangé" that we all use is legally prohibited. You won't find it written on any bottle). This salon will be held on June 15 and 16, at La Bellevilloise in Paris.

A genesis

It all started from a discussion, a proposal from Jacques to Fabrice, a year and a half ago, to organize a salon. Fabrice had already thought about creating a micro-salon in the city of Rouen where he resides. Jacques's idea, therefore, resonated particularly with him. But it was clear that there were already many rum and spirits salons. The shift towards the idea of a salon dedicated to flavored rums happened naturally, especially since no one had really thought of it before.

An organization.

Having the idea for a salon is one thing, creating one is another. Therefore, it was necessary to gather information, discuss, search for details, choose a venue and especially choose a date. It would have been unfortunate if this salon coincided with another. Phew, that's not the case!

For the venue, it will be at La Bellevilloise, in Paris. Then, they set out to find brands, particularly heavyweights such as Isautier, Saint-James, Ti-Ced, Arhumatic, On ti dousé, to affirm the salon's credibility and to bring in small producers, less known. The three friends created a pricing structure for exhibitors and visitors. To be profitable? Not really. Their goal is to make this first edition successful and to show that it can work in the long term.

A living room

You will only need to spend 20 euros for one day or 35 euros for both days of the salon, 3 euros for a drink at the Tiki bar, and 30 euros for the Masterclasses led by Masters of flavored rum like Cédric Brément!

Visitors can arrive on Saturday at 12 PM and on Sunday at 11 AM. They will have access to several stands filled with flavored rums where they can taste everything, with moderation, of course. There will be more than 120 references with well-known and lesser-known brands like Maison Trésor, Sokanaa, La French, and Aïma!

Evenings around the living room

Yes, there is the salon and the parties around it! The first one will take place at Maria Loca on Friday, June 14 from 8 PM, featuring Flor de Cana and Big O Breuvages. It will be the opening night! The second one is held on Saturday night at Purdey Bar, from 8 PM. There, you will find activities around the rums of l’Arrangé des Alchimistes, Disaronno, and Ron Millonario.
