Presentation of this 14-year-old rum

This rum is made from molasses, in accordance with Brazilian traditions, and distilled in column stills . After maturing for 14 years in oak barrels, it is bottled at a degree of 45.3%.

Tasting notes

On the nose, this rum reveals complex aromas mixing vegetal and spicy notes, with touches of golden straw, curry and anise, followed by ripe exotic fruits and marzipan. Aeration enriches the profile with woody, honey, caramel and vanilla undertones, while maintaining a fruity sweetness. On the palate, after sweet notes of toast, it develops gourmet and spicy flavors of tonka bean and cinnamon. The sweet and honeyed cane mingles with the aromas, bringing a rich texture, with slightly brioche ripe fruit. The finish reveals a slightly fermented cane, with nuances of cut grass, asparagus and olive.
