Local producers, with their "trapiches", have been carrying for decades the artisanal tradition of making grogue, this agricultural rum with an exceptional fragrant taste, with flavours of fruit, cane and spices. Grown on volcanic soil, without any fertilizers or pesticides, sugar cane also benefits from a dry tropical climate and exceptional irrigation. It is fair traded.
