This exceptional cognac is the result of the meticulous blending of spirits from only the Borderies, an emblematic cru of the Cognac region. With only 5% of the Charente vineyards, the Borderies are distinguished by their rich history and their rare and precious eaux-de-vie. The Grosperrin - "Le Roch" XO Borderies has been carefully aged in the cellars of the Grosperrin house, under the expert supervision of Guilhem Grosperrin, thus guaranteeing impeccable quality.
A unique taste profile
The nose opens with a beautiful delicacy, mixing the tangy freshness of Granny Smith apples and the velvety sweetness of pears. After aeration, notes of rancio, prunes, and walnuts are revealed, highlighting a mature complexity. On the palate, the balance between nuts, stones, and a sweet touch of ripe fruit is noticeable, sublimated by sweet spices and a subtly vegetal finish. A harmonious and elegant tasting, just like the Borderies.
