Grosperrin N°84 Borderies

This Grosperrin N°84 Borderies cognac, not officially vintage (we can guess its year by the sugestion of its name), comes from a small farm in the Borderies. Despite its size, its owner has become one of the most recognized personalities in the cognac world.

He did not depend on his profession as a winegrower and, thanks to this, he was able to build up a stock of high quality. Now retired, his expertise and know-how are unanimously recognized. He rarely sells eaux-de-vie and this was, which he himself considered one of the most remarkable in his cellar, is a perfect testimony to his work. The distillation was carried out by a distillery related to a large house, and this cognac was then aged in barrels made by the Taransaud cooperage, which is also the one we prefer.

Our tasting notes for N°84 Borderies
