Grosperrin 1992 Petite Champagne

This vintage Cognac comes from a small farm of 12 hectares of vines located on one of the most beautiful terroirs of Petite Champagne, in Salles-de-Barbezieux. This small traditional farm grows both vines and cereals, while having a few animals.

Coming mainly from Ugni Blanc, this cognac was then distilled in a small still on the property by the bouilleur-de-cru.

Our tasting notes for 1992 Petite Champagne

Nose : Au nez, les arômes de raisins secs, d’abricots et de pêches mûries au soleil, d’écorces d’oranges confites emplissent le verre.

Palate : En bouche, l’attaque est franche et la puissance de ses arômes se confirme.

Finish : La finale est assez boisée, sur les fruits. La dernière réduction, il y a 5 ans environ, a ouvert les arômes tout en préservant son équilibre. L’élevage dans nos chais humides lui a procuré une belle texture.
