Grosperrin 1969 Petite Champagne 46.3%
The father had bought this lot in April 1970, thinking of selling it at a better price a few years later, as was practiced at that time by a few well-informed individuals. Unfortunately, the oil crisis coupled with the end of the Vietnam War, caused cognac prices to collapse soon after. When he died, his wife and son no longer got along, and the succession stalled for several decades until we proposed a solution. This cognac was stored under state control on May 5, 1970 in a cellar located on the banks of the Charente, which has since become the Museum of Cognac Arts.
Our tasting notes for 1969 Petite Champagne 46.3%
