In 1999, Jean Grosperrin acquired this lot from the winemaker's son, recognizing the inestimable value of this cognac. This unique cask remained preciously preserved in the cellars Grosperrin for more than two decades, until its bottling in 2021.

Nose : Au nez, superbe expression des Borderies : iris, violette, mais aussi fruits confits (mandarines, abricots). Notes plus minérales en deuxième nez, premières notes tertiaires, belle tension.
Palate : En bouche, l’attaque est franche et ample, on comprend immédiatement qu’il s’agit d’un grand cognac. Le développement est sans appel, sa texture onctueuse est soutenue par les arômes précis et floraux des Borderies de coteaux.
Finish : La finale est très longue, et se termine par des notes racées de fruits rouges.
