A historical legacy for the Claro 100 Dictador

The Dictador brand has its origins in 1751 with Severo Arango y Ferro, an influential figure in colonial trade, nicknamed "the Dictador". Inspired by this story, Don Angel Nùnèz founded the distillery in 1913, which today perpetuates a unique know-how, rooted in the Colombian Caribbean coast.

An elegant rum with a delicate profile

Aged for 100 months in oak barrels before being filtered, Dictador Claro 100 retains the woody imprint of its ageing while displaying a remarkable clarity. Its balance between freshness and sweetness makes it an ideal rum for lovers of subtle and refined flavors.

A tasting with finesse

On the nose, light aromas of vanilla invite discovery. On the palate, the sweetness of cane sugar blends harmoniously with an airy vanilla, offering a silky texture. The finish prolongs this delicate sensation, leaving a soft and persistent imprint.

Dictador

In 1751, Severo Arango y Ferro landed in Cartagena de Indias, a port city in Colombia, to develop trade. A man of power, he was quickly baptized on Dictador.
