Distilled from the juice of two different varieties of sugar cane, the Coloma rum has been aged for 8 years in American oak barrels, and blended by Sandra Reategui and Judith Ramirez, two Colombian Maestras Roneras who combine more than 50 years of experience.

Ron Coloma is then reduced with spring water in old coffee filters from the Hacienda Coloma, which gives it typicity, length and a great organoleptic personality. The rum will then be left to rest for six weeks before being bottled.

The history of Coloma rum is intimately linked to that of the Constain family. Although he was recently born thanks to Alberto Constain Cenzano, it all started with his father, Alberto Constain Medina, in 1959. That year, the young entrepreneur became the proud owner of a family country house built in the late nineteenth century in Fusagasugá, in the heart of Colombia.
