Colombian heritage and careful ageing
Created in 1913, the Dictador house draws its inspiration from the history of Cartagena, a city with a rich colonial past, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This traditional rum is made from fermented cane honey, then aged for 10 years in Colombian white oak (Quercus Humbolti) barrels, bringing a subtle complexity to its aromatic profile.
A harmonious aromatic profile
Its coppery colour with orange reflections announces a bewitching nose, dominated by notes of freshly roasted coffee combined with a creamy vanilla. On the palate, the attack is soft and silky, with a coffee that is always very present, without bitterness, perfectly balanced by touches of delicate vanilla. The long and persistent finish extends this refined sensory experience.
