The nose is rich and animal with cinnamon, sandalwood and notes of leather. The palate is a childhood sweetness reminiscent of crème brûlée and Madagascar vanilla enhanced by more powerful notes of black tea and roasted coffee. Between sweetness and character, this Dictador rum is placed at the crossroads of two worlds and succeeds brilliantly in the transition.

This first chapter of the Dictador Capitulo range opens with a story of exceptional vintage Colombian rums, aged in barrels of different origins.

In 1751, Severo Arango y Ferro landed in Cartagena de Indias, a port city in Colombia, to develop trade. A man of power, he was quickly baptized on Dictador.
