Cuban sweetness

The Legendario Elixir de Cuba is a unique Cuban speciality, halfway between rum and liqueur. Made from aged Cuban rum, enriched with raisins, prunes and natural flavours, it has an alcohol content of 34%. Created in the 1940s in Havana, this elixir has become an ambassador of Cuban sweetness and savoir-vivre around the world.

Indulgence and creaminess

The nose is immediately seductive: raisins, vanilla, caramel, honey and candied fruit. The palate is unctuous and sweet, almost syrupy, with flavours of prune, toffee, milk chocolate and sweet spices. The finish is long and velvety. A perfect digestif , to be served chilled or on the rocks. It also seduces in dessert cocktails and with chocolate pastries. An irresistible guilty pleasure.

Nose : L'attaque est moelleuse, voir liquoreuse, mais les notes de rhum sont finalement dominantes, se développant avec volupté, en reprenant les arômes perçus au nez, sans que le sucre ne soit jamais exagéré.

Palate : Une vraie liqueur de rhum en fait, agréable et originale, avec une longue finale très persistante.

The Legendario rums are made in a distillery founded in 1946 in the historic Bocoy district of Havana, which is housed in a building dating back to the 15th century.
