Havana Club Tributo 2020
Tributo 2020 pays homage to the unique aging and reassembly process used in the making of Cuban rum. It is in Cuban tradition to set aside a small amount of each blend, and put it back into cask for future Cuban rum production. This is also the case for Tributo, where some of the precious liquids from past editions have been set aside and aged again. For the Tributo 2020 edition, Asbel Morales, our Cuban Master Rum Maker, decided to blend several of these Tributo casks in reserve, and add them to a rum from an exceptional batch of 100 casks normally set aside for special occasions, and never marketed before. The result is a rum with staggering depth and complexity, it is dense, intense and rich, with light smoky notes from the 2018 Tributo edition, as well as notes of dark chocolate, coffee and spices in the final notes.

The rums Havana Club originating in Cuba, more precisely in Santa Cruz del Norte, is the result of the work of José Arechabala who founded the emblematic brand of traditional rum in 1878.
