Matusalem Gran Reserva 15
The Cuban heritage of the Solera system
Matusalem was founded in 1872 in Santiago de Cuba by the brothers Camp and Evaristo Álvarez. The production is now based in the Dominican Republic. Gran Reserva 15 is made using the Solera method, a fractional aging system inspired by Spanish sherry, using 15 levels of barrels.
The Solera roundness
The nose offers notes of honey, vanilla, dried fruit and blond caramel. The palate is smooth and smooth: toffee, currants, milk chocolate and subtle spices . The finish is medium and greedy. An accessible and flattering rum, perfect for tasting or in a sophisticated cocktail like a rum Old Fashioned .

Matusalem
The two brothers Benjamin and Eduardo Camp emigrated from Spain to Cuba in 1870 to open a rum distillery. In 1872, Matusalem was born. The name Matusalem refers to the Solera technique, specific to sherry.
