Under the leadership of Jassil Villanueva, a Maestra Ronera representing the 5th generation of the Brugal family, a new chapter opens with Brugal Colección Visionaria Edición 01. Originating in the Dominican Republic, this revolutionary rum is made from 100% local molasses. Fermentation lasts 36 hours, followed by continuous column distillation.

The ageing process, which is entirely tropical, involves first maturing in oak barrels that have contained bourbon and oloroso sherry, followed by refining in European virgin oak barrels. These casks are roasted with Dominican cocoa, adding a unique nuance to the rum's organoleptic profile. With a degree of bottling of 45% Alc./Vol and a dosage of 0g/L (without sugar!).
