Our tasting notes for Dominican Republic 8 years old (A.F.D distillery)

Nose : de subtils aromes de cire d’abeille et de chocolat au lait, de la praline, un soupçon de sciure de hêtre, un coté floral avec de la fleur de sureau

Palate : un coté boisé apporter pain des arômes de pain grillé qui ressort suite à une entrée en bouche plutôt florale

Finish : une douce amertume qui persiste avec un petit côté iodé

The idea was born from the Portuguese, English, Dutch and French East India companies of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, which selected rare commodities from distant lands and imported them into their respective countries. Like the latter, we select the best qualities of rum and import them in France. Compagnie des Indes rums, whether bottled in Single Casks or assembled to bring out the typicality and qualities of each destination, are selected with great rigor.
