Distilled in a 5-column still at the AFD distillery, it has been aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels, including 3 in a tropical climate and 7 in a continental climate. As always with Mezan, it is bottled without additives or 46% cold filtration.

Controlled ageing for a beautiful complexity

Made from cane grown in the provinces of San Pedro de Macoris, La Romana, La Altagracia and El Seibo, this rum benefits from a maturation that subtly balances sweetness and structure. Its prolonged passage in bourbon barrels enriches its aromatic profile, offering a beautiful roundness and an elegant depth.

On the nose, gourmet notes of vanilla, cinnamon, coconut and orange blossom are revealed with finesse. On the palate, the texture is warm and harmonious, evolving on woody and spicy aromas, with touches of brown sugar and pepper. A structured and balanced rum, perfect for pure tasting.
