With the launch of Maja, El Salvador, this small country located between Honduras and Guatemala, makes a remarkable entry on the world map of rum. This is not surprising when you know that it has a tropical climate and volcanic soil that are very suitable for growing sugar cane. Along with coffee, cotton and corn, it is one of the country's main productions. This is certainly what inspired the creators of Maja, two ambitious entrepreneurs determined to create an exceptional rum that is the pride of an entire nation.
