About this Masterclass
Our shop invites you to participate in a masterclass dedicated to the rums of the famous J.M house. Located in the north of the island of Martinique and at the foot of Mount Pelée, the Distillery distills and ages J.M’s aged rums. In 1914, Jean-Marie Martin, who gave his name to the J.M rums, transferred ownership to Gustave Crassous de Médeuil. Today, the company operates on 150 ha of AOC lands, the two main agricultural crops of Martinique, namely bananas and sugarcane. Their steadfast commitment to preserving artisanal methods of farming and production, backed by proven know-how, guarantees the exceptional quality of the rums produced. Distributed in more than thirty countries, J.M aged rums have for many years been regarded by connoisseurs as among the best in the world.
