We set off on a trip to French Guiana and more precisely to the only Saint-Maurice distillery in St Laurent du Maroni which produces a pure cane juice rum. Imported into the Gers and slowly reduced, Toucan rum was born.

The founders Benoît Bail and Jerry Gitany and directors of the group (Damien Sagnier, Wendy Billot, Olivier Scars, Roger Caroni and Vincent Bidault de Villiers) have selected a unique expression of the rum Toucan. This expression is limited to 1000 bottles, reduced very slowly to 60% and bottled exclusively for La Confrérie du rhum.

Agricultural Toucan rum is produced in French Guiana, not far from the equator line, east of the South American continent.
