Nikka Coffey Gin
Extremely fragrant, the first nose reveals with great acuity lime and orange blossom. On aeration, it evolves towards a more milky (coconut), luscious (juniper), spicy (gray pepper, pink berries) and stone (apricot) register. Both lively and unctuous, the attack in the mouth reveals new aromatic plants (sage, verbena). In the middle of the mouth, citrus fruits and especially lemon as well as ripe fruits (apple, pear) took the ascendancy before being in turn covered by strong spices (badian, grated ginger). Salivating, the finish provides the sensation of chewing licorice stick. Its green character evokes a green tea and an infusion of mint. Bitter oranges provide a lot of tone to the aftertaste.
