Product Overview

Empyrhum Profil 2 benefits from a first maturation, then a second maturation in new barrels of noble woods. This profile is based on a plain oak subjected to a controlled long toasting, in order to refine the structure and amplify the empyreumatic signature. Ageing in barrels brings fullness and balance, with a delicately tannic structure, ideal for pure tasting.

Tasting notes

Complex nose of vanilla and toasted almond. The palate has a silky substance, carried by a precise woodiness and a slightly tannic structure ; The long toast underlines toasted and spicy accents, for an expressive and harmonious rum.

The particularity of Karukera rum is that it is made only from blue cane. Blue cane or B69.566 is a variety of sugar cane (native to Barbados).
