The Montebellodistillery, based in Basse-Terre, has been making agricultural rums with character, faithful to the traditions of the island, for decades. This 6-year-old rum, aged and bottled in Guadeloupe, testifies to the high standards and care taken at each stage of its production.

An old rum of beautiful complexity

Aged in 180-litre American oak barrels that have contained bourbon, this rum has a dark amber colour. The nose unfolds aromas of dried prunes and roasted dried fruits, while the palate reveals a refined balance between woody notes and delicate spices. Offered in a 5 cl mignonette, it is a superb introduction to the world of old rums Montebello.
