Presentation of cask strength Papillon

Made from a brut de colonne agricultural white rum made from 100% red cane, Papillon - Influence Sauternes Brut de fût is an old agricultural rum built around a three-year blend. It combines 80% ageing in Sauternes barrels, bringing a candied dimension, and 20% in new American oak barrels, which contribute to a more marked woody structure. Bottled at 62.3°, this spirit reveals an intense and precise profile, ideal for lovers of rums with character. Production is voluntarily limited to 3000 bottles, reinforcing the interest of collectors and enthusiasts of aging in barrels.

Tasting notes

The nose expresses aromas of candied yellow fruit. The palate, very greedy and fruity, opens with nuances of caramelized sugar cane. The palate continues with a long and finely oaked finish.
