A selection highlighting the agricultural character

For this edition of the Wild Nature Series, Swell de Spirits chose an old agricultural rum distilled at Montebello in 2022. After an initial ageing in oak barrels, the rum continues to evolve in a stoneware egg, a container that promotes a different maturation while preserving the expression of the distillate. Bottled at 63.9% and limited to only 320 bottles, this cuvée is aimed at lovers of agricultural rums looking for an original profile.

A balance between freshness and indulgence

Its amber colour precedes a nose dominated by fresh cane, cane juice, white flowers, then notes of brioche, brown sugar, vanilla, marzipan, cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate combines a lively attack with a generous texture reminiscent of vanilla flan, toasted brioche and acacia honey, while maintaining a beautiful vegetal freshness. The finish, long and persistent, prolongs the aromas of cane, white pepper, vanilla and sweet spices. Aeration for about 20 minutes is recommended before tasting.
