The particular climate of the Caribbean accelerates the maturation period of the rums and fully develops their subtle aromas. The Drouin family, a well-known producer of Calvados for three generations, is responsible for the ageing, selection and blending process.

Our tasting notes for Agricultural White Rum

Nose : très aromatique. Il se révèle laiteux. Fruits blancs très mûrs, poires acidulés. Devient de plus en plus épicé. Notes végétales prononcées.

Palate : grasse. Sans concession, aussi aromatique que le nez. Confirme les fruitées, banane flambée, rehaussée de notes de clou de girofle.

Finish : nette, légère amertume. Herbacée et végétale.

The particularity of Karukera rum is that it is made only from blue cane. Blue cane or B69.566 is a variety of sugar cane (native to Barbados).
