Today, Severin rum is no longer distilled in Sainte Rose by the Marsolle family.

Severin 6-year-old rum , matured in Bourbon barrel, with marked notes of cigar, sandalwood and cooked fruit.

Through its old packaging, this 6-year-old Séverin rum is a testimony to the time when the Marsolle family distilled this rum in Sainte-Rose. Today, the brand still exists, but the design of the labels has changed and the taste is quite different!

The Severin estate has belonged to the Marsolle family since 1928. There are Marsolle (which would be of Charente origin) from the beginning of the arrival of the French on the island.
