The quintessence of this terroir marked by the oceanic and tropical climate of the French West Indies, Karukera Fût 65 reveals an unrivalled character, with an exceptional esterification of the rum in its French oak barrel (from 25 to more than 200 g/PAH) and a total of non-alcoholic content (NAT) of nearly 1000 g/PAH. The aromas reveal a rare fullness: a delicate nose, where fine notes of dried fruit and sweet spices mingle. Powerful and supple on the palate, its aromatic intensity is matched only by its depth, of infinite complexity. This eau-de-vie, naturally reduced after long years of ageing in its cellar in Sainte-Marie, is decanted at its barrel strength and not cold-filtered.

The terroir, the know-how of the Cellar Master, the selection of Luca Gargano and patience make Karukera Fût 65 a rum to be elevated to the rank of collector's items.

This solid oak box made in the Cognac region, a nod to ageing in French oak barrels, combines with the simplicity of this numbered crystal decanter to create a case worthy of this exceptional rum.

The particularity of Karukera rum is that it is made only from blue cane. Blue cane or B69.566 is a variety of sugar cane (native to Barbados).
