For this exceptional Shrubb, Karukera wanted the best for its liqueur: a high quality white rum , similar to the Intense of the same brand, cane sugar from Basse-Terre and orange zest carefully selected for their aromatic qualities.
Shrubb can be enjoyed pure, on ice or with lime juice and a dash of sparkling water or soda water, or even a quality tonic to make a balanced long drink cocktail .
Karukera
The particularity of Karukera rum is that it is made only from blue cane. Blue cane or B69.566 is a variety of sugar cane (native to Barbados).
