A historic rum of seven decades

The 1953 vintage of Damoiseau is one of the oldest bottles available in the rum world. Distilled in Le Moule, in Grande-Terre de Guadeloupe, this agricultural rum has undergone an exceptional ageing of several decades. The Damoiseau distillery, founded in 1942, is now the leading distillery in Guadeloupe by its production.

Beyond time

The colour is a dark mahogany of remarkable depth. The nose is infinitely complex: rancio, old wood, candied fruit, wax, patinated leather and oriental spices. The palate is extraordinarily dense , almost oily, with flavours of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, dates and tan tobacco. The final seems to never end. A rum that transcends tasting to become a historical experience, to be reserved for the most exceptional moments.

Damoiseau

The Damoiseaufamily, owners of the Bellevue distillery, in Le Moule, Guadeloupe, traditionally produce high quality agricultural rums.
