Originally, there is a white rum produced for 65% from red cane, generous, fruity, and 35% from blue cane, characterized by citrus notes. The genesis rum will have rested for 1 year in stainless steel vats before being barreled in 2017 in an ex-Cognac barrel and then a new ex-barrel, it is bottled by us in 2023.

Excellence Rhum, through its COLLECTION range, is the first independent bottler to have had the honour of bottling a prestigious barrel from this Guadeloupean distillery.

Our tasting notes for Espérance B07 Vintage 2016 6 Years

Nose : Notes of camphor, apricot, almond oil, beeswax, and a bouquet of mild spices.

Palate : Ripe yellow fruits, with apricot dominating the palate, accompanied by hints of stone fruit, elegant wood, and wafts of juicy morello cherries.

Finish : A finish that leaves us with hints of spices, cherry, and a touch of toastiness on the palate. An elegant and intense rum.
