During this time, Luca Gargano had privileged access to the treasures of the warehouses of Demerara Distillers Ltd (DDL). This unique vintage was distilled in 1974 on the emblematic double wooden still of Port Mourant, one of the last jewels in the history of this mythical distillery, closed in the 1950s. The three barrels of this rum were filled in Uitvlugt and selected in 2008 after 34 years of continental maturation. With a limited production of only 364 bottles, this rum embodies a bygone era but immortalized by Velier. Enthusiasts and collectors will recognize the rarity and depth of this historic nectar, a true tribute to the rums of Demerara and their unique heritage.
