A journey through time with Port Mourant - Vintage 1975

Port Mourant - Vintage 1975 is one of the emblematic traffic jams of the golden period of the Velier-Demerara (2004-2015). Distilled in 1975 on the famous double wooden still of Port Mourant, this rum captures the essence of Demerara's heritage. After the closure of the Port Mourant distillery in the 1950s, its still was transferred to Uitvlugt, where the three casks of this unique vintage were filled. In 2008, after 33 years of continental maturation, Luca Gargano selected these casks to create this rare work. With only 518 bottles produced, this vintage illustrates the know-how and history of Demerara rums. Its depth and rarity make it a piece of choice for discerning enthusiasts and discerning collectors.
