Founded in 1947 in Genoa, Velier has been able to transform itself under the impetus of Luca Gargano to become a major player in exceptional rum. The brand has contributed to the promotion of Demerara rums, in particular thanks to exclusive selections since 1996. This visionary esprit is embodied in the Albion - 1994 vintage, which reflects all the richness and complexity of Guyanese rums.

Distilled in Uitvlugt in 1994, this rum is a rare testimony to the history of the distilleries of French Guiana. Bottled from four casks in 2011, it is questioning experts because of its intriguing origins, adding a mysterious charm to this collector's gem.

Uitvlugt, closed in 2000, has seen its stills transferred to Diamond, perpetuating the unique know-how of historic brands such as AN. This rum is a tribute to this rich tradition, intended for connoisseurs in search of authenticity and rarity.
