A rare legacy of the Enmore Distillery

Distilled in 1990 at the Enmore distillery, this molasses rum is the result of an iconic wooden still , from the former Versailles distillery. Its cask brand, MEV, refers to its origin and the influence of the European broker Main Rum. This single cask was bottled in 2018 in collaboration with Kintra Spirits.

An intense and evolving aromatic profile

On the nose, typical Demerara copper notes mingle with a vegetal and medicinal touch, enriched by ripe exotic fruits and a hint of bitter almond. On the palate, an initial sweetness gives way to mineral and metallic nuances, reminiscent of charcoal bread and roasted cereals. The finish, more gourmand, reveals a velvety green almond accompanied by concentrated resinous notes.
